As we reach the end of 2020, our team wants to take this opportunity to send Season’s Greetings to you and your family. We hope you get a chance over the next couple of weeks to celebrate and spend some time with your loved ones.

We are so lucky to live in such a great community. We’re seeing a record number of houses decorated with Christmas lights. You’ve been making donations to local charitable organizations such as the Stittsville Food Bank and Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre.  You’ve been helping neighbours with shoveling snow or flooding a local rink.

We’ve all come together to support each other during a very challenging year. We are all thankful for the generosity and spirit we see every day from the residents here in Stittsville.

Merry Christmas! • Happy Hannukah! • Happy Holidays!

With COVID-19 still present in our City, we can expect the holidays to be a little different this year. We’d like to encourage Stittsville residents to come together and to step outside your home on Christmas Eve at 6 o’clock and ring a bell for one minute. This is something the whole family can participate in by sending a fun message to Santa that our community is COVID Wise and we are taking all precautions to keep our community safe, remaining hopeful and looking forward to Christmas Day and the New Year.  We look forward to hearing the bells ringing at 6:00p.m. on Christmas Eve!
