I was pleased to attend two ribbon cuttings in the past week to celebrate the grand opening of two businesses in our community.
On Friday, I joined MPP Goldie Ghamari and community members to celebrate the grand opening of Stittsville Whole Health Pharmacy at 1609 Stittsville Main Street. I remember meeting owner and pharmacist Avish Shah late last summer, and hearing about his plans to open the pharmacy on Stittsville Main. He’s lived with his young family in Stittsville for years, but has always worked at and operated pharmacies outside of Ottawa. I remember his excitement about finally being able to open Whole Health hear in Stittsville, close to home. Congratulations to Avish and his family. Wishing you success in our community.
On Wednesday I was part of the ribbon cutting and official opening of Benny&Co. on Hazeldean Road. The family-owned restaurant chain is well-established in Quebec, and Stittsville is their first location outside of the province. Make sure you try the poutine!
