Mattamy Homes will soon begin construction of its Traditions II subdivision, located on the east side of Stittsville Main Street, the south side of Parade Drive, the west side of Falabella Street, and the north side of Campolina Way.

The development includes seven 12-unit buildings, for a total of 84 stacked townhomes. Two accesses to the property are to be provided from Falabella Way, with the parking located within site. There are 108 vehicular parking spaces and 42 bicycle parking spaces.

Here’s information from Mattamy Homes about construction plans and how the work will impact residents:

  • Timelines: Blasting notices went out September 25, 2025 and is scheduled to start October 15, 2025 through November 5, 2025. Underground servicing starts November 5, 2025 through mid-December or earlier.

  • Road closures: To be confirmed. Details on timing will be shared once known.
  • Working hours: Within the City of Ottawa’s Noise By-law (No. 2017-255) with most work taking place on weekdays 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Some Saturdays are possible, but not on a regular basis.
  • Sweeping/dust control/garbage control: Regular street cleaning will be in effect as required. Dust and garbage control will be monitored and addressed accordingly.
  • Parking plan: Parking will be onsite.
  • Tree removal: See approved landscaping plans below. These plans will include street trees where possible.
