The Goulbourn Skating Club will be holding three send-off events for athletes heading to provincial and national championships over the next few weeks. Dans les prochaines semaines, le club de patinage de Goulbourn tiendra trois événements pour souligner le départ de certains de ses membres aux championnats provincial et national. Le premier aura lieu le mercredi 23 janvier à 18 h 30 pour quatre patineurs qui participeront aux Jeux olympiques spéciaux de l’Ontario.

Starlight Synchronized Novice Team is heading to Canadian Synchronized Skating Championships in Waterloo, ON, Feb 22-24, 2019. The group aging from 11-14 will be representing Ontario for the first time. It has been more than 15 years since Ottawa represented at the level.

Michael Raytchev was chosen as the sole Special Olympic male athlete for all of Ontario, to compete in the Canada Winter Games, in Red Deer Alberta, February 23 – Mar 3. Cathy Skinner will also be going as the Special Olympic coach for Team Ontario.
