MARCH 2: Open house for the Stittsville Main Street Trailhead project
Last year, the City of Ottawa received funding from the provincial government for several projects designed to enhance main streets. In Stittsville, those funds will go towards design and landscaping of a trailhead plaza along the Trans Canada Trail at Stittsville Main Street, across the street from Village Square Park.
The project will include new seating, landscaping, pavers, wayfinding signs, and bike parking. Construction will start later in 2019, but before it begins city planners want your feedback on the preliminary design. City staff are hosting an Open House on Saturday, March 2 from 10:00am to noon at the Pretty Street Community Centre (2 Pretty Street). Please drop in to learn about the project and share your questions and comments.
We’ll post the plans and more information on this page when they’re available.
