Each week we’re hosting live webinars with community leaders to keep residents informed about what’s happening in Stittsville. Here’s what we have scheduled in the coming weeks

NEW DATE: Tuesday, May 26 @ 1:00pm: Virtual Civics Class
(no registration required, just click on the link at 1:00pm to join)

  • Q&A with Councillor Gower for elementary students in the Stittsville area.
  • Students can send questions in advance to glen.gower@ottawa.ca

(Usually around this time of year, I’m visiting Grade 5 classes in the community to talk about my job and the role of municipal government. Most students have a curriculum on government and civics in Grade 5 and they are always full of great questions. I’m really missing that interaction with physical distancing, so on Tuesday I’m hosting a “Virtual Civics Class”. I’ll be answering questions from students of all ages. Does your son or daughter have a question? Email it to me in advance and I’ll answer as many as I can!)
