The City is looking for your feedback on the concept plan and proposed equipment for Dagenham Park, a new park being developed in the Westwood community. The 1.32 hectare park is located at the intersection of Dagenham Street and David Wiens Street. The park also has frontage on Cardamon Terrace and is being designed to complement the future Cope Park.
The Park is proposed to include the following:
- Play area with junior and senior play structure
- Swing set with various type of swings
- Sand play area with permanent shade umbrella
- Three permanent shade umbrella tables
- Picnic area
- Benches
- Open greenspace suitable for mini sports field
- Basketball court
- Space for winter puddle rink if required in the future
- Asphalt pathways
- Tree planting for visual interest and shade
- Park sign
- Bike rack
Please be aware that the proposed amenities in the park may be revised due to public comments, technical detailing, and material availability at the time of construction and /or financial constraints.
