Join us on September 7, 2023 at 3:00pm at Bradley-Craig Park in Abbottsville Crossing for an official naming ceremony in commemoration of the Bradley-Craig family’s contributions to the community of Stittsville. The Bradley-Craig family played an important role in the agricultural history of the former Goulbourn township, continuing into this century in the amalgamated City of Ottawa.
This event will be hosted by Councillor Glen Gower. There will be a few short speeches followed by an unveiling of the park plaque and photos. The park is located at Cranesbill Road, west of Triangle Street, in Stittsville.
- Free parking is available at the park or on Cranesbill Road.
- OC Transpo Route 67 is approximately 900 metres from the site, with service at the corner of Abbott & Rouncey.
All are welcome to attend and celebrate the family’s contribution to the township and our city.
7 SEPTEMBRE : CÉRÉMONIE OFFICIELLE DE DÉSIGNATION DU PARC BRADLEY-CRAIG
Joignez-vous à nous le 7 septembre 2023 à 15 h, à l’occasion de la cérémonie officielle de désignation du parc Bradley-Craig, à Abbottsville Crossing, commémorant les contributions de la famille Bradley-Craig envers la communauté de Stittsville. La famille Bradley-Craig a joué un rôle majeur dans l’histoire agricole de l’ancien canton de Goulbourn, y compris après sa fusion à la Ville d’Ottawa au début du siècle.
Cet événement sera organisé par le conseiller Glen Gower. Quelques brefs discours seront prononcés avant le dévoilement de la plaque du parc et la séance de photos. Le parc est situé sur le chemin Cranesbill, à l’ouest de la rue Triangle, à Stittsville.
- Le stationnement est gratuit au parc et sur le chemin Cranesbill.
- Un arrêt du circuit 67 d’OC Transpo se trouve à environ 900 mètres, à l’intersection de la rue Abbott et du chemin Rouncey.
Tout le monde est invité à participer à cet événement et à célébrer les contributions de la famille envers le canton et notre Ville.
