Over the next few months, City Councillors will be working with city staff to set Ottawa’s 2020 budget. The City of Ottawa provides more than 100 services to residents in a wide variety of areas. To pay for these services it relies on property taxes, grants and subsidies, and user fees.

We’re hosting a consultation session for Stittsville and Kanata residents on Wednesday, October 30 starting at 6:00pm at the Kanata Recreation Complex – Hall B, 100 Charlie Rogers Place.

What programs and services should the City of Ottawa be prioritizing?  Where should we be making capital investments for improvements?         Join us at the meeting, or provide your budget input online through Engage Ottawa.

The City also has budget background information and resource materials to help you contribute to the conversation.

Your feedback will help inform the City’s budget priorities and contributes to decisions about investments in services that you want and need.

The draft budget will be tabled at City Council on Wednesday, November 6, then finalized later in the fall.
