Cavanagh Construction has let us know that they’ll be starting tree cutting soon near Porter Place neighbourhood. The trees are being cut to create a pathway connecting from Porter Street to the pathway network adjacent to Coyote Run Park. The majority of the tree removal work will be completed by hand until pathway construction begins. The new pathway will follow the same line as the existing informal pathway through the woods. A permit has been issued by the City’s forestry staff for the work. You can contact us with any questions or concerns.
Abattage d’arbres prévu pour relier le sentier au voisinage de Porter Place
L’entrepreneur Cavanagh Construction nous a informés qu’il commencerait bientôt à abattre des arbres près du voisinage de Porter Place. Les arbres doivent être abattus pour permettre la création d’un sentier qui reliera la rue Porter au réseau de sentiers adjacent au parc Coyote Run. La majorité des travaux d’enlèvement des arbres sera effectuée à la main jusqu’à ce que l’aménagement du sentier commence. Le nouveau sentier suivra le même tracé que le sentier actuel non officiel qui traverse le boisé. Un permis a été délivré par le personnel forestier de la Ville pour la tenue de ces travaux.
